Frequently asked questions

How do I start or pause a game?

Tap the play button in the board’s center. After the countdown, watch the lights and wait for your turn before tapping. The center button becomes pause during play. Android’s Back button also pauses a game.

Resuming shows the current sequence again from the beginning. Opening help or settings pauses play too.

How do I change the mode, shape or pace?

Open Settings using the gear icon, choose your challenge, then save your settings. Changing the mode or challenge starts a fresh session. Sound, haptics, appearance, console size and countdown preference can change while keeping your paused progress.

When does Daily Echo change?

Daily Echo changes at midnight UTC, using your device’s date. Everyone plays the same four-light, 12-step challenge for that date. It works offline and keeps bests and streaks on your device.

A game started before midnight keeps its original date. Finish it to credit that date, or start today’s challenge.

Can I retry a sequence without losing progress?

Choose Practice mode. Its Replay sequence control repeats the current round during your turn, while paused or after a mistake. Practice is unscored and does not change your Classic, Reverse or Daily records.

What does Remove ads include?

The optional one-time purchase removes Echo’s banner and interstitial ads permanently. It does not unlock modes or shapes; those remain free. Google Play shows the local price and manages checkout.

Purchase controls for younger players are in the parent area. The parent gate does not replace Google Play’s payment approval or family settings.

How do I restore Remove ads?

Use the Google Play account that made the purchase. Open Echo Settings and choose Restore purchase. This also applies after reinstalling or on another supported device.

Restoring needs Google Play and an internet connection to verify ownership. A previously verified owner stays ad-free during a temporary connection problem. Pending payments do not remove ads until Google Play confirms completion and Echo verifies the purchase.

What if a purchase is pending, unavailable or refunded?

Follow the status shown in Echo and Google Play. Do not repeat checkout while payment is pending. Check your connection and Play account, then try Restore purchase. Refunds and revocations can remove the ad-free entitlement after verification.

For payment, refund and order questions, use Google Play support. For an Echo restoration problem, contact Geniosity without sending your purchase token.

Where are my records stored?

Records, Daily streaks and game preferences stay in the app’s local storage on your device. There is no Echo account or score-sync service. Clearing Echo’s storage or uninstalling removes this local data; it does not cancel a Google Play purchase.

Where can I manage privacy choices?

Read the privacy policy. Privacy options appears in Echo Settings where Google’s consent system requires it. These advertising data choices are separate from the paid Remove ads purchase.

You can change the local age classification in the parent area. Echo uses a protected advertising path for younger and unknown-age players.
